Dennis Tristani is the Managing Attorney of Tristani Law, LLC. His primary areas of concentration include U.S. immigration petition filings for investors, entrepreneurs, executives, managers, high-skilled professionals, and families. Before founding Tristani Law in 2021, Mr. Tristani was a Senior Attorney and Partner at several high-volume business immigration law firms in the Washington, D.C. area.

Mr. Tristani has counseled thousands of EB-5 clients on company organization and corporate structure strategy, business plan preparation, complex source of funds issues and documentation requirements, redeployment and at-risk rules, and TEA designation. He has significant experience helping entrepreneurs start their own businesses in the U.S. using the E-2 and L-1 visa programs.

Mr. Tristani also has assisted many high skilled professionals successfully navigate complex employment-based green card processes. Mr. Tristani routinely counsels U.S employers ranging from start-up companies to large, multinational corporations, with a focus on hiring foreign nationals using a variety of temporary and permanent visa programs. Mr. Tristani also provides thorough advice concerning immigration-related HR issues, including Form I-9 compliance and E- Verify registration.

Mr. Tristani frequently guides individuals and families through complicated U.S. immigration processes. These include filing naturalization applications, family-based green card petitions, and waiver applications to help families stay together. His problem-solving abilities and attention to individual client needs provide clients with creative and unique solutions in today's complex U.S. immigration system.

Mr. Tristani has presented at and moderated numerous immigration conferences and seminars in the U.S., India, China, Brazil and Latin America. He was recently selected as a "Top 5 Rising Star" by EB-5  Investors Magazine in 2020 and in 2022.

Immigration Experience
  • Representation of EB-5 investors and Regional Center clients concerning compliance with and changes to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) EB-5 policy and regulations including: source of funds documentation requirements, Regional Center I-924 application due diligence and annual reporting requirements, sustainment and at-risk rules, job creation, redeployment of EB-5 capital, material change, TEA designation, I-829 corporate and financial documentation preparation, Child Status Protection Act age-out analysis, and minor investor representation by legal guardians.
  • Representation of clients in connection with appeals filed with the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office and Motions to Reopen/Reconsider filed with USCIS.
  • Representation of clients in connection with federal mandamus litigation seeking relief from unjust processing delays and case denials.
  • Representation of individual and corporate clients concerning compliance with USCIS, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection polices and regulations.
  • Advising clients on strategies to respond to complex USCIS Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny, and Notices of Intent to Revoke, and Denial decisions.
  • Employment petition filings including: EB-5 (I-924, I-526, I-829), EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, PERM, H-1B, O-1, E-1, E-2, L-1, and TN.
  • Visitor (B-1/B-2) and student (F-1) visa filings, Employment Authorization Document (EAD) filings, requests for F-1 reinstatement, and assistance with USCIS and U.S Department of State consular processing delays.
  • Family and Humanitarian petition filings including: I-130, I-129F, I-485, N-400, N-600, I-601 and 212(d)(3) waivers, and asylum.
